The Spec Squad was formed organically in March of 2021. It all began when I, Sandy Specs, came across an ancient photo of a very young Sandy in the workshop with my dad and some friends from cub scouts. My eyes immediately gravitated to the retro caramel safety glasses I was wearing in that picture. Knowing I was in dire need of a new pair of safety glasses, a quick Google search lead me to eBay, where I found the infamous safety specs. A few days later, the Pyramex peeper protectors arrived in pristine form, I threw them on, posted them to my Instagram story and the rest was history.
